Mermen

Here's a couple of mermen, or a couple who are mermen.

The background splash trails off down the leg turning into green and blue Tahitian tribal. Ken has a lot of Tahitian (some done by me) so I was happy to have the background transform into color tribal with no black lines, something I shy away from normally.

Tim's Sleeve

A complex sleeve.

This large chest piece/sleeve starts out as a man-like dragon on the pec, engulfed in flames.

 The dragon's tail wraps down the arm, becoming more tribal in style as it goes.

 It passes behind an iron cross on the elbow, and the Burning Man effigy on the biceps.

The tail finally wraps around several f-14 fighter jets at the wrist.

portfolio/website updates 2013

It's about that time again... time to update the ol' website and portfolio. It doesn't seem as weighty these days, when tumbler and facebook are so much more "of the moment" and easy to update and access as online portfolios.
Here we go, a color leg piece representing earth and fire, to balance a sleeve of air and water. The Faun is earth, the Salamander is fire. The sleeve had a D'Jinn as air, and a Merman as water.

Faun/Satyr/Pan tattoos are fun. 

Oso Malo

This here is a shirt/label design I did for a bear of a man who thought to create a label of clothing for the ursine man. He did not pursue it due to personal matters, but I recently attained his permission to post the artwork.
